A STYLE GUIDE FOR HIGH END DENIM

As we begin to move into High End Denim the one thing we should have knowledge of before we decide to spend "High End" money is how are they going to fit.  Size is only one aspect of how denim fits. There are many other factors in getting a satisfactory fit. Comfort also comes into play as the occasion for wearing such jeans usually calls for a very comfortable pair of Jeans that look outstanding, usually in that order. On this level of denim it's safe to assume we all know how the Sizes per Designer fluctuate and fluctuate a lot they do. but as we all know the Designers have made their choice and their sticking to it.

A first hand look at the "Grey of the season"

As I was saying in my last post the color of the season was going to be Grey. So now I have proof. Here is A Mint pair of Billy Big T’s in a nicely sized 38 waist in you guessed it...a nice smoke Grey. Take a look and tell me what you would wear these with. I personally see a pair of Chocolate Brown Boots with matching belt and A leather jacket. A nice rugged looking zip up style of pure leather would do the trick. Take a look tell me what you think of the Grey TRBJ's and remember to consult the style guide to the left of the page and see how the True Religion fit really works. So take a look at the Grey True Religion and tell me what you think.

Fall Is Here We Can Dress Again

So Fall is here. It seemed to take a little longer this year, so it should be a nice one. A new season of weather, the cooler part of the year. Now we can dress again. I mean jeans and tee's are cool but we all want to wear our Boots, Jackets and Hats. The cool stuff fall fashion the complete outfit.
Denim, do we still wear Skinny jeans into the Fall event though they seem like such a Spring/Summer fashion? Since they look so nice, even though they seem out of season? This would be a personal call from a perspective weather and comfort. meaning if the weather will allow and you are comfortable then please "Rock On!"
Every season has a fabric, a Blend, an impression. To predict in earnest I would have to say this looks like its going to be a “Wool” Winter. I mean denim is here to stay but keep your eye on the wool. I mean mostly accents like jackets and hats and many other items that accessorize the outfit. Wool will make the winter of 2012 a nice warm one.
So the next logical question I guess would be what is the “color” of the season? Grey, I would have to say is the color of the 2012 Fall/Winter season at hand. A mid to dark Grey, the “reserved” manner shade of Grey so to speak. A nice tasteful tweed of Wool in the right places should compliment any attire. So get you some Grey Wool and compliment your 2012 wardrobe nicely.

The first time I saw the denim I knew it was something special. I could also see the founders vision had been achieved. This was different this was unique, this was one of a kind and I paid close to $200 on the spot for my first pair.
